As the world's No. 1 mobile charging brand, our commitment to product innovation is matched by our responsibility to deliver the highest possible standards of product safety. While our portfolio spans a range of consumer technology, battery performance plays a critical role in many of our brands and products. That's why, in 2024, we introduced enhanced oversight protocols designed to raise safety and reliability standards for all future Anker battery-powered products. These protocols also strengthen our ability to identify potential issues with existing products already in the market—enabling us to take prompt actions, including voluntary recalls when necessary, to protect our customers.
Today, we’re deepening those efforts with a global initiative to reinforce how battery safety is integrated into every step of our product lifecycle. This includes new supplier partnerships, expanded third-party testing, increased investment in safety systems, and greater transparency around the safeguards we apply to every Anker battery product.

Material Integrity
We start with what matters most — safe, high-quality materials.
  • Chemical composition analysis of cathode, anode, electrolyte
  • Thermodynamic validation for stability and safety
  • Supplier qualification processes and input controls
Rigorous Testing
Every battery is stress-tested far beyond global benchmarks.
  • X-ray inspection for internal defects and foreign matter
  • Short-circuit and leakage detection
  • Charge/discharge performance testing
  • Vibration, drop, and thermal testing (-20°C to 60°C)
  • Endurance/lifecycle simulation
  • Cell teardown and nanoscale inspection
Production Oversight
Real-time quality control and traceability built into every product
  • In-line quality control at each stage of battery cell manufacturing
  • End-to-end traceability via serial-matched production data
  • Centralized big data platform flags anomalies in real time
  • Full supply chain transparency from raw materials to final product
Third-Party Certification
Verified by the world’s most trusted safety standards.
  • Compliance with UL, CE, CCC, UN38.3
  • Certification of both battery cells and completed products
  • Internal benchmarks exceed minimum global requirements
Battery Safety Advisory Board
External accountability built into the process.
  • Independent experts regularly review designs, incidents, and test data
  • Supports benchmarking against best practices
  • Expanding in 2025 to include broader global representation
