Anker Innovations Initiate Replacement Program for “22D51” Batch of Detachable Battery for Powered Cooler

We have discovered that some of the lithium-ion batteries used in the Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler series may pose a fire safety risk due to a manufacturing defect. We have identified that 0.04% of these battery cells, originating from a single production batch with the product code “22D51”, were produced during the week of December 19, 2022.

Although only a small number of batteries may be affected by this issue, out of an abundance of caution we are reaching out to all customers to begin a battery replacement program.

If you currently own any of the following EverFrost models, we ask that you immediately stop using this product and follow the steps outlined in this email.

Affected Products:

Anker EverFrost 40 Powered Cooler (A17A1)
