How do I charge the battery?

Use a 60W or higher USB-C wall charger and USB-C to USB-C cable.

Use the supplied AC adapter and XT-60 converter cable.

Via the XT-60 port, connect a cable to an 11-30V solar panel.

What should I do before using the battery for the first time?

Fully charge the battery. You can use the supplied AC adapter and XT-60 converter cable or choose another method mentioned in Question 1.

Unit test for hurricane outages

I found that giving the battery a headstart by using A/C
power to cool the cooler to 0 & 33 before a power failure
and resetting temps to 29 & 36 before activating the battery.In my 77 degree condo the battery held temps for24+ hours. I have 2 batteries and will use this 20 %
discount to buy a 3rd.

Excellent product

I’m so glad having bought a second battery, as it doubles the life of the non-powered cooler when in an environment without power.

Amazing Reliable Tech

This battery is amazing. It’s definitely rated at higher capacity than stated. It’s my second one. I purchased the everfrost cooler and wanted an extra battery for east swapping between charges. It really wasn’t needed since I mostly charge through a small 100 solar panel. However we like to camp in the shade and it’s great having non stop power on demand at all times. If you have an ever frost cooler and you’re undecided , just pull the trigger and get it.
