    Anker Solix C1000 (X?) as a UPS.

I bought the Anker Solix C1000 a couple of weeks ago. On the app it says Solix C1000X, although I bought the C1000. Not sure what the difference is, but they seem identical. I came across Anker Solix as I was researching for a good replacement uninterruptible power system (UPS) option for my network/audio/video "cabinet", which has high end network gear, PoE video security setup, as well as audio/video equipment. I am glad that my attempts to search for and aquire a typical UPS had failed, because WOW, these Anker Solix units are amazing. They perform exactly as advertised, and even surpass. I am glad I bought this unit because not being disappointed is always great. The Solix C1000 performs perfectly as a UPS. It is very silent, and looks great. Hanldes any surges from powering equipment on with no issues. I still have an old plasma TV that is 15 years old now (upper TV in the picture), and is very power hungry according to today's standards. The TV does not stay on after a power failure, but can be turned on after the C1000 has switched. I remember this happening with the previous actual UPS units that I had before as well over the years. After a bit of research, it appears that plasma TV's are just very very sensitive, and need an amost instantaneous switchover time, which you would only get with "online" UPS systems, and not the typical "line interactive" UPS systems, which are the common consumer-grade UPS's. There are other similar sensitive electronic equipment that require online UPS's as well. I tested with a newer LED TV (the lower "fireplace" TV in the picture) and the TV stays on after a power failure with no issues. No problems with computers or routers either. So if the electronic equipment is too sensitive, this is certainly NOT the fault of the Solix C1000. Even a line interactive UPS wouldn't keep these types of electronics running uninterrupted. You would need an online UPS system.
I would suggest to set charging power to the lowest (200W) if using as an always-plugged-in UPS and don't need the unit to ultra-fast charge up again. No need to stress the batteries to charge quickly if the unit is being used as a UPS. Also, after some research, always being plugged in and charged to 100% deosn't seem to be as big an issue with LiFePo4 batteries as it is with typical Li-Ion. What I myself will be doing is, a slow drain by unplugging the unit every week or two for a few hours (when it has only a couple hundred watts of load on it), and let it run down to 60% or so. Then plug it back in to recharge with the slowest charging rate. About once a week or two weeks. I feel that this should keep the batteries healthy. Take that for what it's worth...
I have ordered another Solix C1000 with the expansion pack for other needs and emergencies around the house. Hopefully the longevity and lifespan of these units is also as advertised. But from what I have seen so far, I don't see why they wouldn't be. I definitely recommend Anker Solix.

    Great little powerhouse

Bought the product, and after the software update the device work properly. I've done a few tests with heavy and light loads and it performed great.

    Powerful Juicebox

Beautifully finished unit. Charges quickly on shore or solar power and delivers reliable energy. Smaller than expected and easy to carry using the handles. Display is clear and the charging animation is fun, but the numbers indicating power coming in/out are too small to easily read at a distance (arm’s length). Recommend reducing the size of the % remaining graphic in the display to allow more space for the other numbers. Definitely not a deal-breaker, though - love the unit and it will serve us well.

I've been using Anker products, such as phone chargers, for a long time without any issues. As a loyal customer, I'm thrilled that they now offer a power station with HyperFlash technology that allows the portable power station to be recharged to 100% in 58 minutes via a wall outlet with a 1300W input. It works incredibly well. All the ports and power are fantastic and it has exceeded my expectations.

So far I have no negatives on this Power Station... I like everything about it, including that it will take an expansion battery pack (BP1000) if I one day want to buy it. In my opinion, better features than the Jackery Explorer 1000. I use it every night plugged in next to my nightstand using the very convenient UPS feature to make sure my Sleep Apnea machine (BiPAP) never shuts off if the power goes out. Doing tests it will run my BiPAP machine with the heated hose and humidifier features set to on for over two nights. I wanted to be able to carry it one-handed in an easier way and have a shoulder strap as well. I bought from Amazon a set of Geedar "Extension Cord Holder Organizer (4 Packs) Garage Organization and Storage (60 LB Capacity) Heavy Duty Cord Storage Straps" (velcro-type cord wraps with attached D-rings) and attached the two wider wraps (7.5" long) to the carry handles that are located at each end of the Solix C1000(X). Then I was able to attach the 14" Veto Pro Pac carrying handle and the Veto Pro Pac 56" (adjustable-length) shoulder strap to this unit. Makes for a great carrying experience, especially using this nicely-padded shoulder strap in a cross-shoulder way. Still looking for a good case for it... Also looking forward to taking this Power Station outdoors to try at a picnic or camping.

    FAQ

Q1: How do I use a solar charger to charge Anker SOLIX C1000?

    - Use an 11-60V solar charger with an XT-60 connector.
    - For 11-32V, the supported current is 10A max.
    - For 32-60V, the supported current is 20A max.
    - For best compatibility, use these Anker solar panel series: 625, 531, or PS400.

Q2: How should I store and maintain the power station?

    - Turn off all outputs when not in use to avoid battery power loss.
    - Store in a dry and cool area.
    - Check battery capacity each week. If the battery level is below 30%, charge to 100%. Fully charge once every 3 months.

Q3: How do I use the Anker app?

    - Connect to a network before using the app for the first time.
    - After connecting to a network, connect the power station to off-grid devices via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Q4: Can I recharge Anker SOLIX C1000 using AC and DC input simultaneously?

This is not possible. AC input is prioritized if both AC and DC inputs are connected. When AC recharging ends, Anker SOLIX C1000 switches to DC recharging automatically.

Q5: How many UL certifications has Anker SOLIX C1000 received from SGS?

Four. Anker SOLIX C1000 is certified by SGS in accordance with UL 1012, UL 1778, UL 1973, and UL 60730.

Q6: How do I activate SurgePad™ on Anker SOLIX C1000?

SurgePad™ activates when total output exceeds rate output. Heat-generating devices work best. SurgePad™ does not support precision instruments and other devices with voltage protection or a strict voltage requirement.
