Over the years we bought a couple of these PowerHouses from Anker. Our first one from 5 years ago still works but we just kept needing more power so kept upgrading. Haven’t taken this new one on the road yet but just had to take it out of the box and try it out. Uploaded a video but we would still like to put down a few thoughts here to share.1. It’s the best looking so far! We’ve looked at a couple of brands for this kind of high capacity model, but the design of this Anker one was really sleek. The flat top really nailed it for us since we can put stuff on top of it.2. Powered through our Balck&Decker 450CFM leaf blower at the highest output no problem, outputting 1007W of power while being charged. You can see it in the video.3. Like the power saving mode since in the previous models you can waste the power if you forget to turn off the switch.4. Came out of the box with 33% charged (you do have to plug it in to activate it though) and after 15 mins of charging, it went up to 45%, showing that it will take another 0.7 hrs to fully charge. Pretty impressive.5. We tested it in a 75F afternoon, after 15 mins of charging you can hear the fan inside starting, and you can feel a small amount of heat if you put your hands within 0.5 in of the side vents.6. The fan was pretty quite, a smooth hum that’s like white noise machine.7. It is quite heavy but me being a 5’1 petite woman can still move it on my own in and out of the back of our SUV. Still, I wouldn’t say it’s portable… So if you don’t want to or can’t carry a heavy load, then that might be something you want to think about.Well that’s everything we have so far. We are very excited to take it out to camp as we want to power our cooling fan with it. Will update afterwards with more.
