What does the 0W Output Switch do?
The 0W Output Switch is for anyone using a third-party inverter. Use the output switch to set your home's output to 0W and prioritize charging or precisely control Solarbank.
How do I connect my 0W Output Switch?
First, update your app version to 2.0.2 or later. Make sure your firmware is also updated to the new version.
For further details on how to connect, refer to our user manual. It's divided into two parts: physical installation and network configuration.
When will my 0W Output Switch be shipped?
The Output Switch will be delivered in a separate package. We will begin shipping these packages on Jan. 31st.
How should I use the 0W Output Switch?
The 0W Output Switch has IP65 dust and water resistance. It can be used indoors and outdoors.
You can also use the 0W Output Switch as a single connection with one Solarbank and one microinverter.
Parallel connections are also supported. You can use two 0W Output Switches with two Solarbanks and one Anker SOLIX MI80 microinverter. Other microinverter brands are not supported for parallel connections.
Is the 0W Ouput Switch compatiable with Anker SOLIX MI80 Microinverter?
Yes, it's compatible. However, since MI80 already supports 0W discharging ("Output to Family"), you don't need to purchase the 0W Output Switch. Just change the MI80 setting to prioritize charging Anker SOLIX Solarbank.
Do I really need to set the power to 0W?
If you want to make sure your system is not powering any home loads or want to store all PV power, it may be useful. We recommend minimum power not be set to 0W due to appliance base loads that operate for long periods, such as fridges.
