      FAQ

What is the charge allocation logic of E1600 Solarbank when connecting the Anker SOLIX Balcony Solar panel system?

Priority charging works according to the power demand set by the user. When the photovoltaic power generation exceeds the user's power demand, the excess is stored through energy storage.

For example, if the photovoltaic panel generation is 800W at noon and a user's power demand at that time is 200W, the user can set the noon period discharge power to 200W in the app.

Our energy storage system will autonomously regulate the discharge to provide 200W of electricity for the home and store 600W in the energy storage system to avoid wasting energy. The system directly discharges photovoltaic enegy into the house to avoid wasting unstored excess electricity.

Users can store excess electricity generated by photovoltaic panels for nighttime use.

How do I connect Anker SOLIX Balcony Solar Panel to Anker SOLIX E1600 Solarbank?

Only three steps are required to connect the system:
      • Connect the solar bank to the microinverter using the supplied MC4 Y output cables.
      • Connect the micro-inverter to a power outlet using the original cable.
      • Connect the solar panels to the solar bench using the supplied solar panel extension cables.

Is Anker SOLIX E1600 Solarbank a plug-and-play product like other power systems?

Yes, connecting Solarbank is very easy and only takes 5 minutes for the first time:
      1. Connect the solar panel, solar bank, and micro-inverter with the accessory cable we provide.
      2. Press the on/off button for 2 seconds to turn on Solarbank.
      3. Download the Anker app to get the full functionality of Solarbank.

Can I add multiple solar panels to Anker SOLIX E1600 Solarbank?

An Anker SOLIX E1600 Solarbank can only be connected to one Anker SOLIX Balcony Solar Panel system (2-panel set). If you want to add more modules, you need another Solarbank.

What kind of solar panels are compatible with Anker SOLIX E1600 Solarbank?

The solar panel needs to meet the following specifications for charging:

      • It is recommended that the total PV Voc (open circuit voltage) is in the range of 30-55V. PV Isc (short-circuit current): 36A Max; Input voltage: 60VDC Max.
      • The micro-inverter should meet the output specifications of the Solarbank: Solarbank's MC4 DC output: 11-60V, 30A (800W Max).
